The Philadelphia Eagles are a total fraud. They're a soft team. The 49ers pushed them all over the field, dominated the time of possession and ran right at them. The Rams would score 40 points against that Eagle defense.

It's just amazing to me Mighty that nobody says shit about Philly when they're racking up 35 a game and beating teams on the road on monday night. They lose a tough game today and they are a fraud. What a crock of shit!

With the full impact of socialism, I mean, parity, in the NFL , the Eaqles are the closest thing to a solid team in the NFC. Once the playoffs start it's anybodys race to win it all though.

By they way, what just makes St. Louis so damn intimidating? That win the eaked out over the Bears this year? Yea, I'm sure the Eagles are shittin' all over themselves right now.

defense wins championships...philly's defense has been exposed and will not keep them in the playoffs...dallas, gb, and carolina have a MUCH better chance than philly because of their defenses...

Not only did they win all of those consectutive games, BUT THEY ALSO COVERED. Obviously someone had the Eagles......

Fraud...you need to read my post in another thread (I'll copy and paste it here for you soccerbob):

SIGH let me explain this to people that aren't very familiar with the Philadelphia Eagles football team (like soccerbob)...

It's easy to "expose" a defense when half the team is out with significant injuries. Hollis Thomas, Paul Grasmanis, Nate Wayne, Carlos Emmons, Bobby Taylor, Troy Vincent, Brian Dawkins, Micheal Lewis, Jerome McDougle, Ike Reese and Derrick Burgess have suffered some type of injury this year. It's a testament to this team that they have done as well this season as they have. When they get to the playoffs they will be ready...and they will win games.

I think saying the Eagles D got exposed is probably the most ignorant comment I've ever read on this forum...and that's saying something. This game should've been 41-28 if not for a miracle play by a Niner DB and a couple of missed FG's by Akers into a 30+ mph wind this game ends in regulation.

Next time try watching the game before commenting on it. Please save yourself the embarrassment of an ignorant comment. Thank you and good luck.

I know you didn't say the D got exposed but I figured you'd get the idea of what I'm saying here...

Good luck!

I'm not worried about going to that dome Tony. The Niners forced the Rams to go to OT in that dome and lost by a FG and then at SF the Niners blasted them 30-10 so it's not like the Rams had great success against this Niners team either.

Anthony:

Lets not forget here that the Lambs were one moron who wouldn't fall down away from OT with the 49ers and they got absolutely crushed in San Fran. So down killer, think before ye speaks.

Indeed they lost a game they had no business loosing but honestly...Who is going to see Philly in the playoffs? Carolina...love to see it..but nope, Dallas...Coach is more experienced than his players are...bad sign, Bulger will be exposed and faulk will have to run for 400 and catch for 200 more in order to win...One loss does not convince this team isnt going to the NFC Champ...game.

I can also safely say that this is a blowout if Vincent plays today. Sheppard just got flat out beat by a rookie WR on too many plays, including one TD on a jump ball and one KEY 3rd down play where he was called for holding on Tai Streets. Two plays that were monumental for the 49ers that I believe Vincent would've made.

I can sit here all day making valid excuses for this loss but you get the idea. Other than the Patriots name the other teams in the NFL that have gone on 9 game winning streaks...if you can't name anyone else you'd have to call them "frauds" too wouldn't you.

Good luck on your wagers...I do follow your picks in the soccer forum as they are pretty insightful.

I think this is seeing the game through green-colored glasses. If not for bad snap on FG, Garcia fumble on his own 20, muffed punt that went 8 yards, and poor special teams coverage on Westbrook 81-yard punt return, Phily could've lost by a lot in regulation.

Niners are the most under-rated team as their record does not reflect their talent.

I'll give you the underrated part. Though 1-7 on the road doesn't speak volumes about their ability in hostile environments (save for today which I will give them credit for).

I'm not trying to take away from the Niners W but Akers is a much more established kicker than Pedersen and for him to miss 2 in this one is shocking. The Niners special teams were awful all game not just on that punt return. The Pinkston play was the turning point...if Todd crosses the goal line before losing the ball it's 21-7 at that point and the Eagles would've rolled. But I will give credit where credit is due. Regardless of who got hurt and the number of strange happenings in this game the Niners got the W.
